BRICS Driving Ambition: How youth is changing the landscape of energy and climate geopolitics

The opening lecture of the III Coloquium of Energy Geopolitics ⚡ will take place on the 16th of December, at 11:45h (BRT). Our invited speaker Alexander Kormishin, is the Chairperson of the BRICS Youth Energy Agency, he holds a Bachelor degree with honours in Economics of the International Institute of Energy Policy and Diplomacy of the MGIMO-University (Russia) and two Master degrees of the MGIMO-Univeristy and the Univeristy of Leipzig (Germany) in the International Energy Economics and Business Administration. Currently, Mr Kormishin works for Rosatom Corporate Academy. He is also a Member of the Commission for International Humanitarian and Youth Cooperation the Russian Humanitarian Cooperation Agency and coordinator of Young Energy Professionals Russia and Member of the Project Team for FEL Congress 2022 of the 25th World Energy Congress. 

 In this conference, Mr. Kormishin will talk about how youth from the BRICS are game changers, innovators working jointly towards climate action and energy transition, showcasing successful cases and initiatives.
